HOLLAND (WTHC-AM/FM) — A 39-year-old Holland man suffered non-life-threatening injuries after a single-car crash in Port Sheldon Township, according to Ottawa County Sheriff’s Sgt. Chris Dill. The crash happened just before 4:30 p.m. Friday, July 24, 2020.
:23 PM deputies from the Ottawa County Sheriff’s Office were dispatched to a one car personal injury crash on Barry Street west of 144th Avenue in Port Sheldon Township
Police said the man had been speeding while passing other vehicles in the eastbound lanes, but the man lost control of his car, while left the road, hit a culvert and flipped before stopping in a ditch.
The driver went by ambulance to Holland Hospital and was transferred to Spectrum Health Butterworth for treatment of broken bones and internal injuries, police said.
