HOLLAND (WTHC-AM/FM) — A 19-year-old Holland Township woman is in custody after a single vehicle rollover crash that hurt a baby on westbound I-196 near the 63 mile marker in Hudsonville just after 11 p.m. last night.
Her passenger, a one-year-old boy, went by ambulance to Spectrum’s Helen DeVos Children’s Hospital in Grand Rapids with non-life-threatening injuries.
Ottawa County Sheriff’s Sgt. Chris Dill indicated it’s unclear why the vehicle rolled over and landed facing east in the westbound lanes. Police found the child improperly restrained in the vehicle.
The driver was arrested and faces charges related to the crash, which remains under investigation.
