Bonstell tells WHTC in an email he is “leaving this awesome team at Ottawa County for a position as the Emergency Manager for SEMCO Energy. It was a tough decision, I have many friends and coworkers who I will miss greatly. We have been through A LOT over the last few years and they have always performed well. We have always had the full support of the community, County Board and Sheriff’s Office Leadership. I am proud of our time together and look forward to the future.”
