Reverend Henry Dykema, age 81 of Zeeland, went home to be with his Lord and Savior Sunday, July 12, 2020.
He is survived by his wife of 60 years Cora; his children: Carol and Brett Miles (Lindsey Miles, Nathan and Kelsey Miles), Brenda and Bruce Freye, David Dykema, and Jennifer and David Zeilbeck (Matthew Zeilbeck, Sarah Zeilbeck and Hannah Zeilbeck); his daughter-in-law Diane Dykema (Benjamin Dykema, Amanda and Hunter Thorson, Abby and Teddy Kelley).
Henry was preceded in death by his son Mark in April of 2013.
Henry immigrated from the Netherlands at the age of 10 and graduated from Calvin College and Calvin Seminary. Henry served as a pastor for 36 years in the Christian Reformed Church. He served in Guam, Decatur, MI, Holland, MI, Bravo, MI and Hollandale, MN. After his retirement Henry was the director at Ditto for several years.
Private services will be held. Memorial contributions may be given to World Renew.
