HOLLAND (WHTC-AM/FM) — A robbery at the Verizon cell phone store, 7589 Cottonwood, in Georgetown Township, is being investigated by Ottawa County Sheriff’s detectives.
Store employees told police a group of men entered the store just after 2:30 p.m. Friday, July 3 2020, demanded cash and took items from the store. A deputy near the scene saw the SUV leave the area and initiated a pursuit, which continued into Kent County.
High speeds and heavy traffic caused police to end the chase.
Sheriff’s detectives are working with area police departments investigating similar incidents.
