Sharon Berkompas, age 75, of Holland passed away June 30, 2020.
Sharon was born in Holland on July 29, 1944. She was a member of Central Avenue CRC.
She loved serving others throughout her life. Sharon volunteered in many different ministries throughout the years, she loved having tea parties for many different occasions, and had a profound love of quilting and volunteering at Living Threads Ministry. She also had a huge devotion to her family.
Sharon was preceded in death by her loving husband, Jerry Berkompas and granddaughter Meaghin Burns.
She is survived by children – Brenda and Dan Strikwerda, Deb Burns, Nancy and Sina Seng and Allyn Berkompas. She is also survived by 14 grandchildren and 2 great-grandchildren.
Funeral services will be 11 am Friday (July 3) at the Central Avenue Christian Reformed Church, 259 Central Avenue, with Rev. James Scholten officiating. Burial will be in North Holland Cemetery. Visitation will be 10-10:45 am prior to the service at the church.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be given to Living Threads Ministry.
