HOLLAND (WHTC-AM/FM) — Holland police investigated a stabbing reported Friday, June 26, 2020.
Holland Police Capt. RIck Walters said officers were called to an domestic incident in the 200 block of East 18th Street early Friday evening.
“We made contact with a 27-year-old female who said she was assaulted by a 32-year-old male whom she was in a relationship with,” Walters said in an email to WHTC. “In self defense she stabbed the male.”
The man was taken to Holland Hospital, but refused medical treatment, according to Walters.
Details of the incident have been forwarded to the Ottawa County Prosecutors office for consideration of possible charges, Walters said.
