HOLLAND (WHTC-AM/FM) — A two-vehicle crash sent three people to Spectrum Zeeland just before 2 p.m. Thursday, June 19, 2020, at the intersection of 56th Avenue and Tyler Street.
Ottawa County Sheriff’s Sgt. Christie Wendt said deputies found that an 82-year-old Zeeland man had been driving south on 56th, with a 78-year-old passenger. Their car was hit by a GMC with a 51-year-old West Olive woman at the wheel.
She’d been westbound on Tyler when the Zeeland man disregarded the stop sign at the intersection, police said, and pulled into the the GMC’s path.
Blendon Township firefighters and LIFE Ambulance assisted at the scene.
