HOLLAND (WTHC-AM/FM) — Fire destroyed a home on County Road 215 near the village of Grand Junction in Van Buren County Tuesday, June 16, 2020.
Columbia Township firefighters was dispatched at 10:25 p.m. and immediately requested mutual aid from the Bangor Community Fire Department and South Haven Area Emergency Services. The house was engulfed in flames when firefighters arrived.
Those inside safely evacuated. Tankers shuttled water to the scene.
The fire’s cause remains under investigation and there were no reports of injuries
The home is across from the Michigan Blueberry Growers Association headquarters.
