HOLLAND (WHTC-AM/FM) — A T-bone crash sent one person to Holland Hospital with non-life-threatening injuries, according to Ottawa County Sheriff’s Sgt. Matt Wildfong.
The crash, at US-31 and Riley Street, happened just after 7 a.m. Tuesday, June 16, 2020.
Deputies learned that a 34-year-old Holland resident, driving a 2018 GMC Acadia, had been southbound US 31 and failed to stop at the red light at Riley. The Acadia collided with a 2012 Chevrolet Silverado pick-up truck, with a 37-year-old Holland resident at the wheel, who had been westbound on Riley.
The impact caused the pick-up to hit a 1999 Subaru, with a 28-year-old Holland resident at the wheel, who was also westbound on Riley.
Everyone involved, including a 3-year-old passenger in the Acadia, had been wearing seatbelts. Only the Acadia driver was hurt, going to Holland Hospital with what police called non-life-threatening injuries.
