HOLLAND (WHTC-AM/FM) — Allegan County Sheriff’s deputies are investigating a hit and run that sent an 88-year-old woman to Holland Hospital.
The crash happened at about 4:30 Saturday afternoon. The woman had been walking near her home near 117th Avenue west of 56th Street in Clyde Township.
She was found after the fact, and went by AMR Ambulance to Holland Hospital. There, deputies determined her injuries were consistent with being hit by a vehicle.
Police believe the vehicle was traveling eastbound and struck the victim. The crash may have left damage to the passenger side of the vehicle.
The victim’s name is not being released. She is in serious but stable condition.
