EDITOR’S NOTE: This story has been updated to reflect that only one drive-by shooting happened but police were tracking a vehicle that may have been used by suspects and was found in Holland Township.
HOLLAND (WHTC-AM/FM) — Holland police and Ottawa County Sheriff’s deputies are investigating a drive-by shooting early Wednesday, June 3, 2020.
Initial reports indicate no one was hurt. A house on the 400 block of West 21st St. has holes in the siding and possible tree damage.
Police, called to West 21st at 6:15 a.m. Wednesday, talked with three people in a home that was the target of the drive-by shooting. Police also documented five shots into the home’s siding.
Using a vehicle description, Police located the Nissan Maxima believed to be the suspect vehicle, parked near a Holland Township residence.
Based on preliminary investigation, said Holland Police Capt. Bob Buursma, its appears the victims and suspects know one another. They have been interviewd, but police are getting limited cooperation, Buursma said.
Detectives are continuing to investigate the incident.
