HOLLAND (WHTC-AM/FM) — Among the efforts to help more people understand the pain and fear people of color feel in their daily lives is a live online broadcast Lakeshore Ethnic Diversity Alliance set for 2 p.m. Wednesday, June 3, 2020.
LEDA’s executive director, Gloria Lara, will talk with the Rev. Denise Kingdom Grier Maple Avenue Ministries’ lead pastor, and pastor of embracing.
In a note sent to the public and to media Tuesday afternoon announcing the program, Lara wrote, in part, “Friends, I am saddened and shocked, not just by what is happening in our cities across the country, but also by the senseless killing of yet another black person. It is my hope that conversations are taking place that will help us find common ground and address these inequities.”
The link to the online broadcast is set for a Facebook broadcast on LEDA’s page: https://www.facebook.com/diversityalliance/#
