HOLLAND (WHTC-AM/FM) –Ottawa County Sheriff’s deputies are investigating a home invasion in Holland Township.
Police, called the home at 6:15 p.m. Friday, May 29, 2020, by a resident who was home alone, according to Sheriff’s Sgt. Nicholas Knott.
Police found a broken window and the resident — hiding in the basement — was able to direct police to the suspect’s location. Police found the suspect on the home’s back porch, and took that person into custody without incident.
The suspect has not been named or identified by age or gender but remains in Ottawa County Jail, pending arraignment on charges of breaking and entering an occupied residence.
