HOLLAND (WHTC-AM/FM) — Ottawa County Department of Public Health officials issued a warning Holland Farmers Market shoppers who bought flat-leaf parsley on Saturday, May 23, 2020 from Future Days Farm.
People should not eat the greens, which have a second plant mixed in that is not safe to eat, according to farm operators and health officials. Neither have entity has said what the second plant is.
If you purchased flat-leaf parsley from Future Days Farm within the first hour and a half of the market (8-9:30 a.m.), please contact the market immediately at info@hollandfarmersmarket.com.
Future Days Far’s booth was on the south side of the Eighth Street Market Place, close to Maple Avenue near the Civic Center Building.
