HOLLAND (WHTC-AM/FM) — All seven questions on ballots in Allegan and Ottawa counties passed.
Kenowa Hills Schools’ $67 million bond proposal passed.
Nearly 9,500 ballots were cast for Grand Haven Area Public Schools’ 18-mil non-homestead tax renewal question, which was overwhelmingly approved, 7,367 to 2,130
Hudsonville Schools’ 18-mil non-homestead tax renewal saw 8,448 ballots, with 5,870 voting yes and 2,578 voting no.
Caledonia Community Schools’ $88 million bond proposal passed, 3,919 voting yes and 2,649 voting no.
Caledonia’s 18-mil non-homestead tax renewal passed: 4,743 said yes, 1,971 voted no.
Hopkins Public Schools 1.6-mil increase to create a sinking fund for building, security and technology improvements drew 1,620 voters and of which 862 voted yes and 758 voted no.
Voters also approved a $22.9 million bond request from Otsego Public Schools, which has students in Allegan, Kalamazoo and Van Buren counties. The money will be used to update and re-equip schools and add a pool to the high school.
