HOLLAND (WHTC-AM/FM) — Zeeland City Council’s meeting set for Monday, May 4, 2020, will be a combination of in-person and virtual.
The meeting is set to start a 6:15 p.m. in the City Hall council chambers, 21 S. Elm St. in downtown Zeeland. But some members of council, as well as anyone from the public, will participate via conference call at (408) 418-9388 and the access code is 715 931 874.
People should mute their phones except during the public-comment portion of the meeting, according to city officials.
People can also email comments to Zeeland officials, via Clerk@cityofzeeland.com, but those emails must be received by 5 p.m. on Monday, May 4, 2020.

When the regular business meeting begins after the study session, it will include a public hearing at 7:15 p.m. on the proposed 2020-21 Zeeland City budget
Action items include:
- Adopt FY 20-21 budget resolution
- Farmers Market contract
- Downtown special assessment waiver
- Annual staff reappointments
- Boards and commissions reappointments
City council members will also discuss vacancies on the board of construction appeals, which has one vacancy and the nominating commission, which have five open seats.
