HOLLAND (WHTC-AM/FM) — A second COVID-19 death is being reported in Allegan County. Health officials say 95 residents have the virus and 13 people recovered. Eleven are waiting results. County health officials report completing 1,007 tests.
They’ll start reporting probable cases — those who are waiting on test results but have distinct COVID-19 symptoms — today.
In Ottawa County, 224 people have been diagnosed, with 26 hospitalized, nine deaths, and 42 are considered recovered.
Statewide, 40,399 have the virus and the nine percent death rate translates to 3,670 lives lost.
