HOLLAND (WHTC-AM/FM) — Holland police and Ottawa County Sheriff’s deputies corralled a suspected car thief Monday afternoon, April 13, 2020.
The vehicle was taken on Sunday, April 12, 2020, said Holland Police Capt. Keith Mulder.
“One of our officers found the vehicle occupied in that parking lot,” Mulder said in an email to WHTC. “An Ottawa County deputy came to the scene since it was their original stolen-vehicle case.”
Police on the scene found suspected narcotics on the vehicle’s lone occupant, a 30-year-old woman with no address of record, Mulder said. The drugs were sent to the Michigan State Police lab for testing, he said.
She was taken into custody and could face charges of possession of stolen vehicle and possession of narcotics, he said.
