HOLLAND (WHTC-AM/FM) — A 24-year-old Cedar Springs man suffered life threatening injuries in a single-motorcycle crash just after 5:30 p.m. Sunday, March 5, 2020.
Crash investigators found the man had been riding westbound on Luce and failed to negotiate a curve near the intersection with Linden. The motorcycle went off the road, hitting a drainage ditch. The crash ejected the man. He had been wearing a helmet, police said. and went by ambulance to Spectrum Health Butterworth in Grand Rapids, where he remains in critical condition, according to Sheriff’s Sgt. Nicholas Knott.
The crash remains under investigation.
