Rosella “Rosie” Strabbing, age 80, of Hudsonville, went to be with Jesus her Savior on Wednesday, March 25, 2020.
Rosie was a gentle woman who cared deeply for her family. She was a good listener, a mediator when she needed to be, and had a smile that could light up a room. Along with her husband, Clif, Rosie traveled throughout all 50 states. After Clif died, she expanded her travels to many places around the globe.
Rosie was a woman of deep faith. She was a charter member of Fairhaven Ministries in Hudsonville (as well as a charter member of Faith Reformed in Zeeland). She was active in Bible studies and was a prayer warrior.
Rosie is survived by her sons: Brent (Jane), Blake (Paula) and Rev. Chad (Jennifer); 12 grandchildren and 10 great-grandchildren (with 2 more on the way); in-laws: Carol Strabbing, Donna Vander Veen, Bud Beukema; and many nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends. She was preceded in death by her husband, Clifford Strabbing in 2010; granddaughter, Grace Elizabeth; and sister Laurie Beukema.
The Strabbing family will be having a private funeral service at Yntema Funeral Home. Burial will be in Georgetown Cemetery.
