HOLLAND (WHTC-AM/FM) — In an email to members, Cathy Blackburn, Senior Marketing Group’s president, announced this year’s Senior Community Day, set for May 29, 2020, will be canceled.
“Because of COVID-19, the board feels it to much to risky to have 700+ seniors gather in one place,” she wrote. “In this unprecedented time, we have no guide book to tell us how long this will last.”
She assured those receiving the email “we will be back on May 28, 2021!”
Vendors and sponsors will get refunds in the mail over the next couple weeks.
“If you agreed to be a screener or seminar presenter, we will be back in touch next year,” she wrote. “If you have questions, please feel free to contact me.”
