HOLLAND (WHTC-AM/FM) — Holland Hospital is offering, on a limited basis drive-through COVID-19 testing by appointment only, for those who call the screening hotline for an evaluation.
The limits are needed because of the national shortage of test kits and viral transport media, used to collect lab specimens. There is also a limited number of people who can run the tests.
Nurses from the hotline will call ahead to the testing site to schedule the appointment for the patient.
Anyone experiencing symptoms of respiratory illness, including fever, cough or shortness of breath, please call our should call for screening: (616) 394-2080 from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m. seven days a week, to talk to a nurse.
Anticipating a patient surge, Holland Hospital has suspended all non-essential services, including elective surgeries, and is services and hours at our offsite locations. For the latest information, visit hollandhospital.org/covid19.
Visitor restrictions remain in effect. Anyone coming to the hospital or offsite location (including employees) will be screened for respiratory illness before entering.
