HOLLAND (WHTC-AM/FM) — A 26-year-old Grand Rapids woman was hospitalized after a single-vehicle crash in Wright Township, just after 8:45 p.m. Saturday, March 13, 2020, according to Ottawa County Sheriff’s Sgt. Brandon Tubergan.
Emergency responders found the woman, who’d been driving a 2020 Ford Fusion, had attempted exiting I-96 in Wright Township, but failed to navigate the off-ramp’s curve. Her car followed a straight line instead, crossing the I-96 on ramp from 16th Avenue and crashing into a ditch.
She went by ambulances to Spectrum Health Butterworth for treatment.
Sgt. Tubbergan indicaed alcohol is believed to be a factor in this crash.
