HOLLAND (WHTC-AM/FM) — Holland City Council will meet for a study session primarily devoted to the upcoming budget.
The board convenes at 5:30 p.m. Wednesday, Jan. 22, 2020, in city council chambers at Holland City Hall, 270 S. River Ave.
The meeting opens with a public comment period, with city officials asking people who want to talk about anything not on the agenda to limit remarks to three minutes, as the meeting is set to run until 9 p.m.
City officials have scheduled presentations by the following department directors:
- Parks and Recreation
- Fiscal Services
- Human Resources
- Human Relations
- Community & Neighborhood
- Holland Board of Public Works
- Transportation
- Public Safety
- City Clerk
- Downtown Group
City Manager Keith Van Beek will wrap up the meeting with a summary of the city’s 10-year track records for spending, development, human resources, transportation, cash flow, tech, and public safety, among other topics. The report will include highlights in the the recent past and projections for 2021.
