HOLLAND (WHTC-AM/FM) — Holland City Council is set to meet for a business session at 6:45 p.m. at Holland City Hall, 270 S. River Ave. A link to meeting background is online, on the city’s website.
The council will gather at 5:30 p.m. to review the agenda at a study session where no votes will be cast.
At 6:30 p.m. council members and human relations commissioners will gather to present the 2019 Social Service Awards.
The main topics on the city council’s business-meeting agenda are:
- a $219,000 budget for the Pine Avenue stormwater lift station;
- an agency fund agreement with the The Community Foundation of the Holland/Zeeland Area for the Holland HeartSafe Project. This project would raise money to install defibrillators at City of Holland sites and educate the public.
- purchasing for $1,340,497.66 a 100-foot mid-mount aerial platform for the Holland fire division. This will be a roll-call vote. The vote would include making surplus the fire division’s current unit, a 2002 E-One Bronto.
This public meeting will include a time for members of the public to speak on any issue for up to 5 minutes during a dedicated public comment period.
