HOLLAND, MI (WHTC-AM/FM) – Holland’s ice cream maker has a Christmas present to ice cream lovers in West Michigan.
Hudsonville Ice Cream announced last week plans to assume production of Sherman’s Ice Cream products in 2020. The South Haven-based maker had halted its production operations earlier this year due to equipment problems, but maintained its popular Phoenix Street dairy bar in order to sell off its inventory.
No terms of the deal were announced as Hudsonville will keep the Phoenix Street dairy bar open and sell its products, along with long-time Sherman’s favorites, out of that facility, along with retail sales in outlets throughout the Midwest. The Sherman’s line, along with the dairy bar, will reemerge in March.
