HOLLAND (WHTC-AM/FM) — One person is dead after a car went off the road and struck a tree in Olive Township at 3:14 a.m. Friday, Dec. 13, 2019, according to Sheriff’s Sgt. J. Douglas.
Deputies have learned the vehicle was traveling west on Port Sheldon Street when it ran off the north side of the road, flipping, then hitting a tree.
The driver, and only occupant of the vehicle, was pinned in and pronounced deceased at the scene.
Port Sheldon St between 104th Ave and 96th Ave reopened at 9 a.m., after being closed for several hours for the crash investigation and clean-up work.
No details on the victim will be released until family members are notified, according to Sgt. Douglas.
