HOLLAND (WTHC-AM/FM) — A winter-weather advisory is in effect until 1 a.m. Monday, Dec. 2, 2019, for the following counties: Ottawa, Clinton, Ionia, Kent, and Muskegon, according to a National Weather Service meteoroligists from the Grand Rapids office.
Area residents can expect up 2 to 5 inches of snow, with an inch an hour falling at times.
Drivers will find snow-covered roads and intermittent low visibility, making travel hazardous. With temperatures hitting freezing, expect bridges and overpasses to be dangerously icy. Drivers are advised to use extra caution, slowing down, allowing extra time to reach each destination, and leaving extra space between each vehicle whenever possible.
