HOLLAND (WHTC-AM/FM) — Two people suffered non-life-threatening injuries in a West Olive crash just before 6:15 p.m. Saturday, Nov. 30, 2019.
Ottawa County Sheriff’s deputies found the crash scene, at the intersection of Stanton Street and 120th Avenue.
Police learned a 23-year-old Zeeland Township resident was driving his 2008 Audi south on 120th Avenue, then turned left onto Stanton Street, heading east.
But that driver failed to yield to northbound traffic, His Audi hit a 2005 Subaru, which had been headed north, with a 35-year-old Grand Haven-area resident at the wheel.
Two passengers in the Audi went by AMR Ambulance to Holland Hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.
Police closed the intersection for nearly an hour, for the safety of those treating and transporting patients and during the intersection’s clean-up.
This crash remains under investigation.
