HOLLAND (WHTC-AM/FM) — Firefighters from South Haven Area Emergency Services (SHAES) and Ganges Township started their Thanksgiving holiday battling a fire that engulfed a grain dryer at the Hamlin Farms,6679 111th Ave. in Allegan County’s Casco Township.
No one was hurt, accordign to authorities.
Firefighters, called out at 7 a.m. Thursday, Nov. 28, 2019, found the grain dryer engulfed in flames. They were able to protect nearby storage silos containing more than 100,000 bushels of grain.
Tankers shuttled water to the fire scene.
