Bob went home to be with his Lord and Savior on Friday, November 22, 2019, in Wyoming, Michigan. He was born in February 1952 in Saginaw, Michigan, to Donald and Dorothy Harsch. Bob graduated from Tawas Area High School and Delta College then later working for Consumers Power as maintenance supervisor for 30 years and Kellogg’s for 9 years as a planner. He served in the Navy 4 years on board the aircraft carrier USS Forrestal. He was married to Tonita the love of his life for 46 years. Bob volunteered as a Boy Scout Master and loved to go camping, fishing, hunting and serving in his church.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Donald and Dorothy (Krebs) Harsch. Bob is survived by his wife Tonita (Wilson) Harsch, sons David (Brenda) Harsch, Eric (Jessica) Harsch, grandchildren Chyann Jacobs, Jeffrey Harsch and Isaac Harsch, and great-grandchildren Teddy and Grace. He is also survived by his siblings Michael (Connie) Harsch, Donna (Otto) Alvarado and Deborah (William) Warblow.
A celebration of his life will be 1 p.m. Monday, November 25, at Zion Lutheran Church, 77 West 32nd Street, Holland, Michigan, with visitation one hour prior to the service. Interment with military honors will be 1 p.m. Tuesday, November 26, at Floral Gardens, Bay City, Michigan.
