HOLLAND (WHTC-AM/FM) — The National Weather Service has issued a Lakeshore flood advisory, in effect from 5 a.m. Thursday to 1 a.m. Friday, Nov. 22, 2019.
Winds from the south will reach 20 to 30 mph and in the morning arrive from the west, increasing to 30 to 40 mph in the afternoon, turning northwest by the evening.
Waves could reach 3 to 5 feet in the morning, building to 6 to 10 feet in the evening — and that means beach and bluff erosion can be expected, along with minor flooding in low-lying areas, and near the mouths of rivers.
