HOLLAND (WHTC-AM/FM) — Holland Police detectives have identified a person of interest in the two arson investigations after fires on Saturday, Nov. 16, 2019.
Based on the latest information available to police and fire investigators, they continue looking for tips from the public.
Anyone living on the folowing street: 16th, 17th, and 18th, between River and Columbia avenues, are asked to call if they have home surveillance video that shows anyone walking through the area between midnight and 8 a.m., or if they observed suspicious behavior in that area late Friday night or early Saturday morning.
Holland investigators are being aided by Kent County Sheriff’s Department arson K-9. Evidence collected so far suggests accelerants were used in both fires, and have indicate some evidence related to the person of interest.
