HOLLAND (WHTC-AM/FM) — First responders from three fire departments worked to extinguish a Casco Township house fire on Saturday, Nov. 9, 2019.
South Haven Area Emergency Services responded to the 5:30 p.m. alarm at a home at 870 Blue Star Memorial Highway, near 107th Ave, according to fire officials. No one was inside; the five-bedroom, two-bathroom home, which is for sale. A passerby noticed flames through a first-floor window and called 911.
A SHAES firefighter, hit by falling debris while inside the home was treated at Bronson-South Haven Hospital and released.
The fire’s cause remains under investigation.
Ganges and Lee Township fire departments provided mutual aid.
