HOLLAND (WTHC-AM/FM) — The Ottawa County Stop Child Abuse and Neglect Council has announced a competition for a new logo. The competition is open to all ages and all interested individuals and organizations.
An online form, available at arborcircle.org/logocompetition, must be submitted by December 1, 2019.
The council will share design requirements to anyone who completes the form.
Original design entries are due by February 1, 2020.
The council will narrow the entries to the top five designs and host a community vote to decide the winner.
The top three logo entrants will receive a gift cards, in $100, $50, $25 denominations, and recognition at the annual Ottawa County Pinwheel Garden Campaign Kickoff.
Finalists will be notified by April 1, 2020. The winning logo will be showcase at the Child Abuse Prevention Month kickoff in April, and published on the councils and Arbor Circle’s social media pages.
All participants who submit an original logo design during the competition will receive a free pinwheel garden from the SCAN council during the month of April 2020. The pinwheel is recognized as the national symbol for child abuse prevention, and represents the happy, carefree childhoods all children deserve.
