MANLIUS TOWNSHIP, MI (WKZO AM/FM) — Troopers from the Michigan State Police Wayland Post are investigating a pedestrian crash that killed a 90-year-old Fennville resident in Allegan County.
It happened just after 2:30 p.m. Thursday on 56th Street north of 128th Avenue in Manlius Township, north of Fennville.
Investigators believe the elderly victim was walking across 56th when they were struck by a vehicle traveling northbound, driven by a 28-year-old Fennville area resident.
The 90-year-old pedestrian was pronounced dead at the scene.
Alcohol does not appear to be a factor, but authorities are still investigating the crash.
