HOLLAND (WHTC-AM/FM) — Halloween hours for some of Ottawa and Allegan counties’ communities:
6 to 8 p.m. for Holland, Grand Haven, Fennville, Coopersville, and Norton Shores.5 to 8 p.m. for Saugatuck and Gobles.
5:30 to 7:30 p.m. in South Haven.
3 to 5 p.m. for downtown Zeeland trick-or-treating; citywide 5 to 8 p.m.
3 to 5:30 p.m. for downtown Allegan trick-or-treating; city wide from 5 to 8 p.m.
Hudsonville has no designated trick-or-treating time.
As always, residents are encouraged to leave their porch lights on to let children know where to trick or treat.
Teal pumpkins indicate a house is offering candy alternatives to children living with food allergies — non-food treats like glow sticks, stickers, small balls or other toys.
Parents and other guardians are strongly encouraged to accompany young children on their trick-or-treating, and inspect candy before allowing kids to eat it. Drivers are strongly encouraged to slow down, and expect to see kids on any street.
WHTC invites you to share your Halloween photos on social media — use #1450Boo! on Facebook, Twitter, or Instagram.
