HOLLAND (WHTC-AM/FM) — Attention tree lovers: the city of Hudsonville needs some volunteers.
The city needs 150 registered volunteers to help the city plant 75 trees intended to line a future path through the newly constructed park where the Summergreen golf course used to be.
ReLeaf Michigan, a non-profit tree organization, has partnered with the City of Hudsonville, Davey Resource Group, the Grand Valley Metro Council’s Lower Grand River Organization of Watersheds and the state’s Urban and Community Forestry Program to plant 75 trees in the new park, at 3511 New Holland St, Hudsonville, from 8:45 AM to 1 PM.on Saturday, November 2, 2019.
The holes will be already dug, but planners need lots of help to get all the trees in. Food and refreshments will be provided.
To volunteer, Contact Ashley Perrin at aperrin@hudsonville.org or (616) 669-0200.
