HOLLAND (WHTC-AM/FM) — A shooting in Polkton Township put a 24-year-old Coopersville woman in critical condition Monday, Oct. 21, 2019, just before 5:30 p.m., according to Ottawa County Sheriff’s Sgt. J. Douglas.
Ottawa County Sheriff’s deputies found the woman at a home in the 16600 block of 80th Avenue.
First responders from the Coopersville Polkton Township Fire provided immediate care to the victim, and Life EMS raced her to Spectrum Health Butterworth in Grand Rapids, Douglas said in a statement emailed to media.
The incident remains under investigation by the Sheriff’s detectives.
