COLUMBIA TOWNSHIP, MI (WKZO AM/FM) — UPDATE: Police in Van Buren County have identified the man who died from a single gunshot wound as 53-year-old Christopher Anthony Holman.
Holman died on September 30th. All involved parties remained on the scene when the police arrived.
The case remains under investigation at this time.

The Van Buren County Sheriff’s Department is reporting that a 53-year-old man from Grand Junction, MI has died following a shooting Monday.
Just after 5 p.m., police were called to a residence in the 49000 block of County Road 384 in Columbia Township in response to a shooting report.
Upon arrival, the man was treated by emergency personnel for a single gunshot wound. He later died from his injury on the scene.
All other parties were on the scene and accounted for, but the circumstances of the shooting remain under investigation at this time.
