HOLLAND (WHTC-AM/FM) — Incoming storms have National Weather Service meteorologists extending the beach-hazards statement through Friday evening, Sept. 27, 2019.
Expect high wave action along the Lakeshore, with strong currents and dangerous swimming conditions at all beaches from St. Joseph to Manistee.
Winds will increase to near gale force as the say progresses. No one should walk on a pier, as waves will build from 4 feet, easily washing over the piers, to 10 feet.
