HOLLAND (WHTC-AM/FM) — Ottawa County Sheriff’s detectives are investigating a shooting at Oakview Woods Apts, 615 Douglas Ave. in Holland Township.
Police, called to the scene just after 8:30 p.m., Wednesday, Sept. 25, 2019, learned a 20-year-old man had been shot in the abdomen, but had left the area before deputies arrived.
As they interviewed witnesses and gathered evidence, Holland Department of Public Safety officials learned the shooting victim had gone to Holland Hospital for treatment for non-life-threatening injuries. HDPS officials alerted Sheriff’s officials.
