HOLLAND (WHTC-AM/FM) — An emergency shelter-in-place message went out to Holland-area residents’ smartphones just ater 5 p.m. Sunday, Sept. 15, 2019.
About 15 minutes later, a second text cleared that order.

He indicated this is part of a larger investigation, and shelter-in-place notices were sent to area phones — intended to go to people in a half-mile area around the scene.
But area residents from that area in the Holland’s south side, as far as 20th Street. It’s unclear what happened.
