Ofelia Garza, 89, of Holland, Mi passed away and joined her Lord and Saviour September 7, 2019 in her apartment surrounded by her family. Ofelia was born July 1st, 1930 Blue Town, Texas to Jose and Paula (Gonzalez) Perez. Ofelia married Ruben Garza in 1955 and raised their only daughter Leticia in Texas. Ofelia was the oldest of 10 siblings: Moises; Eleazar; Elena (deceased), Bertha, Dora, Eva, Ruth, Rebecca and Joe. Ofelia served the Lord all her life and always demonstrated a servant's heart. Ofelia is survived by her adoring daughter & son in law Leticia (Letty) and Alex De Avila, her beloved grandchildren Victoria (Adam) Dunning, Bianca (Benjamin) Roybal, honorary granddaughters, Amanda, Sara, and Ally. Ofelia was greatly loved by all her nephews and nieces. Her example of living a Godly life will be something that all those who loved and respected her will strive for. Funeral services will be held on Monday, September 9, 2019 at 11:00 am at Lakeshore Memorial Services, 11939 James St. in Holland.
