HOLLAND (WHTC-AM/FM) — Holland’s 10th annual Labor Day boardwalk steps off at 8 a.m. today, Sept. 2, 2019.
The walk starts at the entrance of the Heinz Waterfront Walkway, wast of pickle factory. The leisurely walk follow the water to Windmill Island Gardens, where a pancake breakfast will be served between 8:30-10:30 a.m.
Breakfast costs $5 for adults, $3 for children. Children under 3 are free.
Proceeds support the Sal Perez Scholarship Fund, which pays children from Holland’s low-income families to participate in recreational programs.
The Zeeland-Holland truck parade starts at 9:15 a.m. in downtown Zeeland and rolls through Holland’s Eighth Street to the Holland Civic Center Place.
