HOLLAND (WHTC-AM/FM) — Zeeland resident Tina Seinen patiently waited in line during Friday’s busy lunch rush at Sub-N-More, 45 E 8th St. in Holland, feeling some regret.
“I’ve been coming here with my daughter since she was 12 and now she’s 22,” she said. Her daughter, Nicole Seinen, was waiting in the car with the family dogs. Mother and daughter planned to take their lunch to a nearby park. “This is our last sub, and we’re actually ordering 14-inch subs, so we have leftovers for tomorrow,” she said. “I’m just really goning to miss this place … we’re going to miss it a lot.”
The restaurant will be open for the last foreseeable time from 11 a.m. – 8 p.m. Saturday, Aug. 31, 2019. Lumir, LLC, sold the building in May to the owners of Crust 54, according to a Holland Sentinel report.
Some fans of downtown Holland’s casual-dining sandwich shop posted photos of their last sub on social media.
