HOLLAND, MI (WHTC-AM/FM) – The countdown to what organizers are hoping will be the start of Holland’s newest annual tradition continues.
Esther Fiefelski , along with other members of the city’s International Relations Commission, are trying to get everything in order for the August 17th event aimed at celebrating and honoring Holland’s burgeoning diverse community.
“Well, there are a lot of things that are occurring right now,” Fiefelski said during a Monday appearance on “WHTC Talk of the Town.” “We’re closing up the details on a lot of different things, but the most important thing is the entertainment and the rededication of the (Queretaro) Fountain (at Kollen Park).
“I have been in touch with the Queretaro mayor, and there is a very good possibility that he will be making a visit for the Queretaro Fountain rededication.”
The 11 AM rededication kicks off the August 17th program; the festivities will then move to the Heeringa Holland Civic Center Place for 11 hours of entertainment, art and cuisine. More information is here.
