HOLLAND (WHTC-AM/FM) — Holland police arrested a man after shots were fired at Bay Pointe Apartments, 791 E 16th St. in Holland. No one was hurt, according to Holland Police Capt. Keith Mulder.
Officers were called to the complex on the report of shots fired Thursday, July 25, 2019. Witnesses helped police identify the suspect, who was still in the area. He was arrested without incident.
Officers and detectives learned there had been a fight in the parking lot, when the suspect allegedly pulled a gun, firing at a vehicle as it was leaving the scene.
Police obtained a search warrant and found the gun in one of the apartments.
The suspect, whose name is withheld pending formal arraignment on a felong charge of carrying a concealed weapon, and lodged at the Holland Police lock-up pending review by the Ottawa County Prosecutors Office.
