UNDATED (WHTC-AM/FM) – Major League Baseball’s All-Star Game is set for Cleveland’s Progressive Field on Tuesday night. Willson Contreras and Javier Baez of the Cubs will start for the National League, with Chicago teammate Kris Bryant in reserve. On the American League team, the Tigers’ Shane Greene and three members of the White Sox – Jose Abreu, Lucas Giolito and James McCann – are all reserves.
Detroit’s and Chicago’s teams return to action on Friday, with the Tigers’ game at Kansas City airing at 7:50 PM on 99 7 and 1450 WHTC, while the Cubs host Pittsburgh in a Wrigley Field matinee and the White Sox play the Athletics in Oakland.
